An American Canoe Association (ACA) Instructor Trainer since 1999, Sam has run 100s of workshops at all levels and is highly sought out by regional outfitters. He circumnavigated Ireland solo in 2007 and has done expeditions to Scotland, Haida Gwaii, British Columbia, Finland, Sweden, Maine and other places. He is one of the most experienced instructors nationally.

Sam brings into his lessons a depth of knowledge, skill & experience matched by few others. His students have fun and success as they work towards their paddling goals and progress to higher skill & knowledge levels.
